The Busan Metropolitan Government is recruiting participants in the "Remote Work" support project to help young people living in other regions work remotely in Busan.

‘Remote Work’ is a new term that is used in a broader sense than telecommuting or working in various places and spaces.

The "Remote Work Place Project" promoted by the Busan Metropolitan Government aims to spread the remote work culture around Busan and settle young people in Busan in line with the recent paradigm shift in the way they work, including the activation of telecommuting and the spread of work culture.

The Busan Metropolitan Government will provide ▲ office space for remote work ▲ part of the cost of stay ▲ customized programs for the Busan Youth Center (Jung-gu) and Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Haeun-gu), and recruit young workers and entrepreneurs aged 18 to 39 by October.

If selected for support, some spaces in the Busan Youth Center, Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, and Busan Eurasia Platform can be used free of charge for up to 60 days, and the cost of staying in Busan will also be partially supported.

Companies and young people wishing to participate can apply by referring to the notice on the Busan Youth Platform or the website of the Busan Institute for Talent & Lifelong Education.

“Busan has a lot of marine tourism resources, such as Haeundae and Gwangalli, and has an optimal location for remote work because it has infrastructure related to start-ups and IT,” said Lee Yoon-jae, director of the Young Industry-Academy Business Administration in Busan. “We expect the MZ generation, who wants a free and creative organizational culture, to flow into Busan through this pilot project.”
