Gyeonggi-do officially launched 'Gyeonggi Ddok D', a customized administrative service using public My Data, on April 27.

'Gyeonggi Ddok D' is a service name selected through internal and external expert screening based on a public contest for citizen participation and it contains the meaning of a "smart data service" that provides customized information that provincial residents want.

Gyeonggi Ddok D provides ▲ "customized benefit information service" such as welfare information and public recruitment information, ▲"Domin card", an identification service based on public My Data, and ▲ an "electronic wallet' that can store and utilize various electronic certificates in mobile phones

▶The customized information service, which provides benefit information that suits for individuals, selects 1,300 benefit information provided by the government, provinces, cities, and public institutions according to individual conditions and provides notifications when it is time to apply.

For example, if there is a resident who turns 24 years old, he/she will be informed of the application information for basic income for young people in Gyeonggi-do, and if he/she moves to another city or county, he will be informed of the welfare information that you can receive from the new city or county.

The notification service not only provides simple notifications, but also provides detailed application methods, necessary documents, and sites to apply for to help people not miss the benefits of receiving them.

▶ Domin Card allows citizens can be identified simply with text message authentication, so people can receive discounts without additional proof when entering public facilities. It helps reduce the inconvenience of preparing and carrying various documents, such as a copy of resident registration or family relationship certificate, and provides convenient admission discounts.

Gyeonggi-do plans to test-run Domin card for eight facilities such as ▲Hwaseong Haenggung ▲Gwanggyo Lake Park Camping Site ▲Suwon I’Park Museum ▲Yongin Natural Recreation Forest ▲Yongin Rural Theme Park ▲Gyeonggi Jathyanggi Green Forest ▲Gyeonggi Ceramics Museum in Suwon and Yongin in the first half of this year, and expand them to other cities and counties in the second half to help more provincial residents use them conveniently.

▶Electronic wallet service allows users to easily issue and store 66 types of certificates provided by the government, including a copy of resident registration, anytime, anywhere on mobile devices.

In the future, as the government expands the scope of issuance of certificates, the types of certificates that can be issued on Electronic wallet will continue to be increased.

Gyeonggi Ddok D can be downloaded on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, and most of the services can be used only after personal authentication without requiring separate membership or login.

Kim Kyu-sik, a future growth policy officer in Gyeonggi-do said "We will continue to develop 'Gyeonggi Ddok D' to communicate with provincial residents and provide customized provincial government services based on reliable data.”

Meanwhile, Gyeonggi-do plans to launch a "My Data Report" service that provides public My Data-based daily reports in August and test a "My Data Platform Service" that allows users to store and directly use My Data wherever they want in November.
