Samsung Electronics announced on March 20 that it will operate the 2022 Samsung Smart School in a total of 10 schools (1,523 students), including 8 elementary schools and 2 special-education schools that need to establish a digital education environment.
Samsung Smart School, which was launched in 2012, is a CSR program that bridges the digital education gap and improves the future capabilities of teenagers by supporting Samsung Electronics' IT devices, specialized learning solutions/content, and teacher training to schools in areas with relatively poor educational environments such as the islands and mountain areas.
Samsung Electronics has built smart schools in 98 schools and 193 classrooms nationwide.
□ Integrated support for IT device/solution/contents

In addition, it was newly designed to freely change the classroom structure to suit the characteristics of the subject, such as project classes and individual classes. The desks and lockers optimized for a flexible class environment have been provided by Samsung Electronics as well.
△ In addition to existing subject contents such as math, English, and science, it provides a variety of exclusive contents, including "Digital Citizen Education" that enhances students' digital identity, relationship, and communication, and "Do Brain," a solution that helps students treat cognitive learning through games.
In particular, Do Brain was selected for the first "C Lab Outside" contest held by Samsung Electronics in 2018 to foster external startups and developed exclusive content for smart schools in cooperation with Samsung Electronics.
△ The number of educational programs for school teachers participating in Samsung Smart School will be increased from once a year to twice a year to enhance their ability to utilize IT devices and educational solutions/content.
Samsung Smart School Supporters, composed of the doctors in pedagogy, will visit the school once a month to provide consulting on the overall operation of the class and provides educational models suitable for each school's situation.
