SK Telecom (SKT, CEO Jung-ho Park) announced that it will recruit " ifriends," a new concept influencer group that works as an avatar on its metaverse platform "ifland."
Ifriends is an avatar influencer group that will create contents that can be enjoyed in the metaverse world with various themes, communicate with other users in real-time, and boost the popularization of the metaverse.
SKT plans to create its own Metaverse culture by producing content together with ifriends in ifland and creating various communities that share interests with ifriends.
Anyone over the age of 14 who wants to be an influencer in the Metaverse world can apply to be ifriends by August 23 on the ifland official website and the ifriends application website.
The results of the contest will be notified individually in August. The recruitment areas are diverse from daily talk to professional discussions, gags, and lectures, without restrictions in fields.
SKT plans to expand its service by introducing the ifland iOS version in addition to the existing Android version in August, and the ifriends also can apply by both Android and iOS devices.
If selected as ifriends, they will be carrying out various activities in ifland such as △ opening ifland meetings △ going to other gatherings △ building a community △ promoting ifland.
SKT plans to provide active support such as paying ‘ifland Traveler Welcome Kit’ and providing additional incentives according to the performance of the group's activities, so that ifriends can pioneer a new career in the metaverse world, and further prepare ways to generate profits in the metaverse world.
