A domestic drone company, Pablo Air signed a strategic MOU with local companies in Arizona, USA to expand unmanned drone delivery

Pablo Air (CEO Kim, Young-joon), a Korean drone company, announced that it has formed a strategic business alliance (MOU) with local companies in Arizona, USA to expand unmanned drone delivery on July 2.

Pablo Air, founded in 2018, is a drone logistics delivery solution·service company that has been a member of the Born2Global Center since 2020.

Pablo made an MOU with three partners: the U.S logistics company NGL Transportation which possesses Wal-Mart and Amazon as its customers, Delivery-EZ which develops unmanned delivery boxes, and the Aerospace Arizona Association.

NGL Transportation, which has a logistics network across the United States with more than 250 trucks, is promoting a drone collaboration with Pablo Air for the first mile.

Delivery-EZ, developing an unmanned delivery station, plans to develop an unmanned delivery station optimized for drones and a low-cost mailbox in collaboration with Pablo Air.

Delivery-EZ is a company founded by an expert with 15-year experience in the global division of UPS and the Arizona Aviation Association will provide Pablo with institutional support such as information sharing of FAA flight regulations and a local testbed.

Pablo Air has successfully developed the smart mobility integrated logistics and delivery solution 'PAMNET’, which makes them more competitive in the industry.

PAMNET is software to be used for future unmanned delivery and logistics systems, which can control unmanned mobility such as drones, autonomous cars, and unmanned trucks etc. in real-time.

"For the first time in a Korean drone startup, we plan to showcase Pablo Air's proprietary technology in the global market by conducting practical commercialization as well as a demonstration of US logistics delivery. Afterward, through continuous development, we will improve the efficiency of not only various mobility such as autonomous trucks and ground robots but also drone delivery, thereby solving the difficulties of long-distance delivery and accessibility of existing logistics delivery systems,” said Pablo Air's CEO Kim, Young-joon.

Meanwhile, Pablo Air was established in 2018 and has succeeded in gaining 8.5 billion KRW worth of pre-series B investment in July, recording a total amount of 11.5 billion KRW. For the first time in Korea, two drones achieved long-distance maritime delivery over an 80.6km section in 2020. it was the first domestic company to show an art show with 100 drones, and performed more than 30 drone art shows using more than 300 aircraft and fireworks in 2019.
