Incheon Metropolitan City established total social safety net that protects citizen’s life and money by integrating the CCTVs in the whole city into the integration platform.
According to Incheon Metropolitan City, smart city integration platform integrates about 16,000 CCTVs in the city.
The city is going to fully establish the platform by integrating CCTV control center in the city and 10 districts until this June, and plan to build the foundation of smart city by establishing organic cooperation system with 112, 119 and location tracking control center in Ministry of Justice.
This allows police stations and fire stations to secure prime time and to respond promptly by getting CCTV information in real time of disaster scene, crime scene, and traffic situation.
In addition, it will also promote a service to prevent crimes in advance by receiving CCTV footage in case of abnormalities, such as violations by electronic anklet wearers in conjunction with the Ministry of Justice.
Besides this, services to support the socially weak such as children and the old, respond to fire breaks in traditional market, search wanted and defaulting cars will be supported.
For this year as smart city build-up period, Incheon City builds smart city based integration platform and preferentially starts the service that shares the CCTV videos of Incheon Free Economic Zones, Michuhol-gu and Gyeyang-gu with police stations and fire stations.
