Bucheon City presents its ‘Intelligent Transport System’ at 2022 ITS World Congress

Bucheon City (Mayor Cho Yong-ik) participated in the 2022 ITS World Congress in Los Angeles to promote intelligent transport systems to the world.

According to Bucheon City and Bucheon City Environment Satisfaction Technology, the city introduced ▲predicting time and space traffic patterns for the entire road network, ▲traffic control, ▲emergency vehicle priority signal system, and ▲various services based on artificial intelligence and big data at the congress on September 21.

Bucheon City provides AI-based services without restrictions by utilizing detailed image-based traffic data which is collected in real-time across the city.

Mayor Cho Yong-ik said, "Participation in the ITS World Congress is an opportunity for Bucheon City to strengthen its position as a high-tech transportation city at home and abroad." and "We will promote Bucheon City's leading transport system and smart cities globally and increase the level of the city through urban values and brands by exchanging and cooperating with many cities and companies around the world."

The ITS World Congress is the most prestigious exhibition and academic conference in the field of intelligent transport systems (ITS) held annually in the Americas, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific continent.

​Bucheon City won the "Hall of Fame Award" at the 26th World Congress held in Singapore in 2019 in recognition of ITS technology development and execution.
