NAVER Cloud and Seoul Asan Medical Center to cooperate on Building Cloud-Based Smart Hospital

NAVER Cloud will cooperate with Seoul Asan Medical Center(AMC) to build a cloud-based smart hospital.

The two companies signed a business agreement to establish and upgrade a medical system using the cloud and build a next-generation medical environment using robots.

The agreement between the two companies includes cooperation in a total of four areas.

First, NAVER Cloud will support a stable and efficient collaboration environment by providing a work tool ‘NAVER WORKS’ to Seoul Asan Medical Center.

Currently, about 400 executives and employees of the hospital are using NAVER WORKS, and it plans to expand the introduction to the entire hospital by linking the hospital information system and the personnel system in the future.

In addition, NAVER Cloud plans to develop a bot function specialized in hospitals to provide convenient functions such as access authentication and notification.

Also, NAVER Cloud decided to support architectural design consulting to effectively operate it along with hospital robot service technology to establish the next-generation medical environment of " Seoul Asan Medical Center Cheongna" which will be opened in 2027 as one of the Cheongna Medical Complex Town projects.

To this end, NAVER Labs, a technology company of NAVER, is discussing the supply of various service robots that combine the latest technologies such as joint 5G-based brainless robots, digital twins, and autonomous driving.

Moreover, the two companies will collaborate to build ‘AMIS 3.0’, the hospital information system of Seoul Asan Medical Center, on the cloud.

NAVER Cloud will provide technology consulting and know-how optimized for the Seoul Asan Medical Center system so that the hospital can stably convert its existing infrastructure, which was operated as an On-premise server system, into a Cloud-native environment.

In addition, NAVER will support the analysis and storage of data in a safe environment through technical support related to transmission, security, and storage of personal and medical information processed by Seoul Asan Medical Center.
