LX (Korea Land Information) Corporation and Jeju Province have decided to cooperate to realize "Smart City Jeju."
LX Corporation and Jeju Province announced on January 27 that they have signed a business agreement to realize a sustainable smart city based on digital twin land.
LX Corporation and Jeju Province will cooperate to establish and exchange urban and spatial information to realize ▲ digital twin land administrative service models to solve urban problems ▲ maintenance of platforms to support smart administration ▲ formation and operation of working-level consultative groups.
Jeju Province plans to prepare a reference model for the open platform for Jeju environmental impact assessment through the development of administrative utilization models for conservation area management, environmental impact assessment, and renewable energy licensing.
LX Corporation will contribute with spatial information standards, quality management, and data processing to build 2D spatial information data to discover digital twin-based administrative service models in Jeju Province and establish a spatial information system using the LX digital twin platform.
It will also support customized technical support for the use of the LX Digital Twin platform, education, data utilization, and service model development advice, and Jeju Province plans to expand intelligent public services felt by the public through smart administration and foster future new industries that solve local problems.
LX President Kim Jung-ryul said, "We will provide services that people can truly experience the difference by converging digital twin and metaverse."
