Jeju Net announced that it opened WithSpace (https://withspace.com), a metaverse-type 3D web virtual exhibition platform where artists, curators, and tour companies in need of exhibitions can hold 3D virtual exhibitions online and be sponsored by users.

Jeju Net is to utilize 3D web technology accumulated through the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's smart public art museum construction project and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' support project, and add a copyright monitoring function for works using AI by the first half of this year.

By the end of January, the beta service period, 16 kinds of virtual exhibition spaces will be available to anyone for free, and new exhibitions created after the beta service period will require differentiated payment depending on the size of the virtual exhibition hall.

It has a variety of 3D virtual exhibition halls, including a 3D exhibition hall modeling Jeju's tangerine warehouse and an exhibition hall set in space, and will be added in the future.

Anyone who wants to use the platform needs the signup. After the registration as a member through a simple subscription to Kakao or Naver, uploading images, videos, and 3D modeling works, the selection of the exhibition hall, and entering detailed curating is possible through PC. And then the exhibition opens immediately. Exhibitions opened during the beta service period can be displayed without a separate end period, and exhibitions created after the official service opening will be limited to a 30-day exhibition period.

The exhibitions currently on display are 17 types, including works of art and public works whose copyrights have been extinguished.
