In line with the transition to a digital economic society, the service is designed to open various data related to the city to improve the trust and transparency of the administration, and to promote the creation of high-added value for citizens and companies.
It also aims to promote the production, distribution, and utilization of Sejong City data to create a foundation for the development of the data industry and revitalize the local economy by supporting economic activities with data to small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs.
The open platform consists of six menus, including ▲ Big Data Application ▲ Big Data Analysis Data ▲ Citizen Data Map ▲ Idea Contest, providing a total of 385 types of data, including transportation logistics, food health, and finance, which are close to everyday life in Sejong.
Data can be easily downloaded and used by any platform user, and various services and applications can be developed using an open application programming interface (API).
Users can select desired data and delivery method from the data list and download it after approval by the administrator or receive it through an open application programming interface.
The open platform also provides automatic analysis visualization services such as communication-based floating population analysis, consumption pattern analysis, and weather analysis, as well as a "citizen data map" that can produce visualization maps using personal data.
It also provides various big data analysis results reports, such as quarterly consumption analysis and real estate transaction analysis results, to support ways for citizens to use data more easily.
Lee Joong-hyun, head of the Intelligent City Division of Sejong, said, "We plan to continue to discover and open data that is close to and highly utilized in citizens' lives in various fields such as economy, environment, and safety through open platforms.", and "We will also promote data analysis projects in various fields such as local commercial districts and festivals to help citizens' lives.”
