Hyundai Motor Group launches 'Wible Biz', opening an era of ‘Sharing Electric Car’

Hyundai Motor Group has joined hands with the sharing office "Flag One" to launch an electric vehicle sharing service to distribute electric vehicles and expand mobility services. ‘Wible Biz’ is a sharing service in which companies subscribe to electric cars and use them for work during weekdays, and in other hours, individuals use vehicles for commuting or weekend leisure.

Hyundai Motor Group recently announced that it will test-run the electric vehicle sharing service "Wible Biz" for about 50 startups at the shared office "Flag One Seoul Station Camp" located in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Hyundai Motor Group recently deployed and operated two Niro EV electric vehicles at Flag One Seoul Station Camp. Executives and employees of the companies that use Wible Biz can easily book electric cars using mobile apps. The vehicle may be picked up or returned from a dedicated parking area located in the building.

Based on the results of the pilot operation, Hyundai Motor Group plans to increase the number of service vehicles. In order for more people to experience Wible Biz, rental fees will be offered at a 30% discount from the normal price until January 13 next year, the pilot operation period.

Wible Biz has provided its service for Kia brand and eco-friendly vehicles to public companies and industrial complexes. It is characterized by maximizing the convenience of users and managers by providing customized vehicle management, charging, application, and IT solutions as well as vehicle rental.

Starting this year, Hyundai Motor Group is applying its own service operation platform to upgrade its business model and expand its operating area.

An official from Hyundai Motor Group said, "We will make efforts to provide optimal sharing car services so that customers of shared office can enjoy a convenient travel experience and reduce the burden of purchasing and maintaining vehicles through Wible Biz."
