Hosted by the Daegu Metropolitan Government and organized by EXCO and the Daegu Techno Park Bio-Health Convergence Center, the 6th Daegu Active Senior Fair is being held at EXCO for four days from the 22nd (Sat) to the 25th (Tue).
220 global companies in artificial intelligence, healthcare, data science, medical and anti-aging participate in this fair, under the theme of "Powerful Senior! Enjoy Digital Life!"
In particular, the international events of the ‘2022 World Congress of Gerontechnology’ are held simultaneously in Daegu this year, so that not only the latest products, technologies, and exhibitions, but also lectures, discussions, and networking opportunities of world experts in the field of Geron-Tech will be provided.
The event, the only senior-related exhibition in Korea, is expected to lead the senior industry by introducing various products such as artificial intelligence care robots, healthcare solutions, mobility, and senior products that combine cutting-edge technologies.
In addition, the international events of the 2022 World Congress of Gerontechnology, which will be held at the same time this year, will be held from the 22nd (Sat) to 26th (Wed) under the theme of "100-Year-Old Life Skills in the Age of Artificial Intelligence!" More than 100 Geron Tech experts from 26 countries will participate in sharing the showcase, and forums related to digital transformation (DX) cities and aging industrial policies.
In addition, the 'Lifelong Job Center' provides senior employment information, the 'Free Health Examination Center', and the various theme halls such as Beauty & Down-aging and Hair Loss Health Center are also operated. Experiential events such as Senior DJ's "DJing Performance" and "Park Golf Tournament" is also expected to attract visitors.
"Daegu will actively foster digital aging-friendly industries by converging them with robots and healthcare, along with intensively fostering ABB future new industries of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and big data," said Jonghwa Lee, deputy mayor of Daegu City.
