Smart Mobility Logistics Exhibition opens for the First Time

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Minister Won Hee-ryong) announced that it holds the Smart Mobility Logistics Industry Exhibition (Smart TransLogistiX) at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul for three days from the 12th (Wed) to the 14th (Fri).

The Smart TransLogistiX was designed to be used as a specialized exhibition convention platform to lead the global market of new industrial ecosystems by revitalizing information and technology exchanges due to rapid technological development and industrial changes and new industrial ecosystems by promoting technology development and commercialization of companies.

The theme of this year's event is "Digital On Your Way." A total of 50 government, local governments, research institutes, and related companies, including the Gyeonggi-do Autonomous Driving Center, the Korea Railroad Research Institute, and Amazon Web Service, are expected to attend.

The exhibition introduces various new products and technologies for road, transportation, and logistics industry innovation such as ITS, autonomous driving, smart road design, and construction, UAM, smart logistics, and automation.

Lee Yong-wook, the director of the road bureau at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, "As it is getting more important than ever to communicate and cooperate together in the rapidly changing technology development and diversifying industrial environment, we expect this event to be a venue for exchanges in related industries."
