Mobile Citizen Card can be used for the visit to libraries and government buildings in Sejong City

Sejong City (Mayor Choi Min-ho) held a briefing session at the government building on September 20 to present the process of the "second-stage advancement project" in three areas: life (Sejong City app), healthcare (smart health), and safety (crime prevention emergency response service).

Sejong City explained the direction and progress of the project in the living, healthcare, and safety sectors at a briefing session attended by officials from related organizations such as the National Fire Agency, the National Arboretum, the Facility Management Corporation, SK Shieldus, and the Sejong Community Chest of Korea

The "Sejong City App" in the field of life offers an identification service based on blockchain distributed identification (DID) to provide customized services centered on suppliers and users. DID is a technology system that does not control by a central system. Users of the Sejong City app can utilize it as a mobile citizen card, a library membership card, a government office visit pass, and a discount card for public facilities.

The health care support app "Smart Health" provides automatic calorie recognition and automatic analysis services through food photos and has additional functions such as health guidance. Health information linked to home medical devices such as blood glucose meters or examination information from the National Health Insurance Service can be collected, and related services can be provided at health care zones installed in seven places, including the Jochiwon Station.

The "Urban Crime Prevention Service" applies artificial intelligence screening control technology to identify dangerous situations such as large fires, fights, and accidents early and can respond urgently. The information on emergency situations such as accident images and location information can be shared in connection with the 119 situation room.

Also, citizens can get updates about emergency situations more quickly through the information- portal "Sejong N" and traffic signboards (VMS).
