Seoul Gangnam-gu opens local government’s First Medical Tourism Platform

"Green Smart City" Gangnam-gu has opened "Medical Gangnam," an online platform dedicated to medical tourism, for the first time as a local government.

Gangnam-gu announced that it planned Medical Gangnam so that foreign medical tourists visiting advanced medical infrastructure in Gangnam can get all the information on the integrated platform without the hassle of visiting the medical institution's website one by one.

This platform allows medical tourists to use integrated services such as ▲Gangnam medical tourism information, ▲interpreter coordinator connection ▲free consultation ▲real-time SNS inquiry ▲discount coupon, and ▲self-diagnosis.

The "free counseling service" is a system in which foreign patients simply enter the field of treatment and personal information that they want to get a consultation, and the hospitals directly answer prices, processes, and precautions. Patients can solve their curiosity through expert answers and choose after comparing various hospitals.

In addition, real-time 1:1 consultation with the desired medical institution can be provided through the "Real-time SNS Inquiry" service, and discount coupon issuance and self-diagnosis services can be conveniently used anytime and anywhere through mobile and PC.
