- Ministry of the Interior and Safety recruits ideas for address-based innovation of living and administrative services and industry creation

Ministry of the Interior and Safety will hold an "industrial idea contest for creating an address-based data, network, and artificial intelligence (D.N.A.) ecosystem" with LX from the 4th to August 31st to enhance the convenience of people's everyday lives.

Any citizen can participate, and the public offering topics include ▲ innovation in life and administrative services using address information, ▲promotion of address intelligence information-based industries such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), and ▲free topics related to address information.

The submitted ideas will be selected by evaluating creativity, content composition, and expectation performance in a written review on September 7, and the final ranking will be determined through a presentation review on September 23.

The presentation judgment will take place at the academic conference (2022 address-based D.N.A. Ecosystem Conference) from September 22 to 23.

The selected ideas will be used by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to promote pilot projects to innovate address information-based services and revitalize the industry.

Meanwhile, the address information service adopted through the contest from 2019 to 2021 has contributed greatly to the development of address policies such as drone delivery, self-driving robot delivery, indoor navigation, the Internet of Things, and self-driving car parking.

“The more address-based services are provided in the field of life and administration, the more convenient people’s lives will become,” said Choi Hoon, head of the decentralization department at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. “We hope that the people will participate in the expansion of address information-based services to create an address information ecosystem.”
