LG CNS and oVice launch a customized metaverse office service for companies

LG CNS has joined hands with oVICE, a metaverse company, to launch a customized metaverse office service.

This service attracts attention by allowing the metaverse space to be transformed from a one-time event venue into a professional workspace for companies.

LG CNS optimizes the customer's business system with the oVice platform to implement business functions such as sending and receiving mail, reading in-house announcements, and checking schedules on the metaverse.

LG CNS has designed metaverse services that meet customer needs by industry by utilizing know-how in digital transformation (DX) in various industries such as finance, logistics, and manufacturing for more than 30 years.

For example, when executives and employees access the Metaverse office, they can perform their daily tasks. By clicking on the colleague avatar, you can check the colleague's daily schedule and communicate through chat. Team members can also gather to hold video conferences.

Prior to the launch of the service, LG CNS prepared a metaverse space within the oVice platform and verified the quality of the service for in-house executives and employees.

Meanwhile, oVice' Metaverse platform is recognized for its technology locally, with more than 2,200 companies’ use in Japan. Communication functions such as chatting and video conferencing can be supported, and various metaverse spaces such as virtual offices and online event spaces can be decorated according to customer needs.

Choi Moon-geun, executive director of LG CNS' DT division, said, "At the era of multi-mixing, where the boundaries between virtual and reality are fading, demand for metaverse-based workplaces is also growing. LG CNS will provide customized metaverse services to solve customers' pain points."
