Incheon Metropolitan City is getting attention by deciding to hold a Smart City Living Lab on the metaverse.
Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Park, Nam-chun) announced that it will hold the "Incheon Smart City e- Forum" on October 28.
The forum, which will be held under the theme of ‘Living Lab and Digital Twin Utilization Strategy to Solve Local Urban Problems’, will be held using the Metaverse platform "ifland" and YouTube channel.
The forum will seek various strategies to solve urban problems, focusing on Living Lab, where citizens take the lead in discovering and participating in the resolution process, and Digital Twin technology, which can simulate situations that may occur in reality.
In addition, the forum will present topics on ▲ Smart Mobility Living Lab based on citizen’s participation and data (Professor Lee, Jung-hoon of Yonsei University), ▲Meta-Ways Incheon: Incheon stands at the center of Metaverse (Professor Kim., Tae-hyung of Dankook University), and ▲Incheon Metropolitan City's Transformation to Digital Twin administration (Chief of Smart GIS Team Cho, Ki-woong), and will also provide experts Q&A session for citizens.
Any citizen interested in urban issues can participate in the forum through pre-registration, and if you register on October 27 through the Incheon Metropolitan City website (incheon.go.kr), you can receive text messages on how to participate in the metaverse and YouTube URL.
Citizens who participated by metaverse can freely ask questions through avatars in virtual space and participate through YouTube comments. Citizens who have not registered in advance can also watch it on YouTube through the link posted on the website of Incheon Metropolitan City.
