Bucheon (Mayor. Jang, Deok-cheon), a "smart city created by citizens and enjoyed by citizens(Shi-Man-Si-Nu)," is drawing global attention.
The "shared parking and mobility platform" implemented by Bucheon City through the smart city challenge project, which was launched with the support of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Choi Im-rak, Urban Policy Officer) since the second half of last year, was introduced to Singapore, Mongolia, Serbia, and Indonesia.
In particular, Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, was selected as the target of support for the basic mobility platform initiative in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "K-City Network" international contest through the advice of Bucheon City.
Bucheon City is actively sharing the vision, value, and know-how of "Shimansinu Smart City Bucheon."
Bucheon City participated in the World Smart City Expo, which opened in Kintex, Seoul on the 8th, under the theme of "D.N.A. BUCHEON (Data, Network, Artificial Intelligence BUCHEON)."
Through this expo, Bucheon City explained the smart city challenge project, which has been launched since the second half of last year, and introduced Bucheon, a smart city centered on AI technology using software-defined network (SDN) and video data.
Bucheon City, along with Bucheon City Corporation and Bucheon Industry Alliance, also organized a demonstration of Bucheon City Corporation's smart parking system for the socially disadvantaged, and Bucheon Industry Alliance’s robot parking "Narca" among Bucheon's strengths in World Smart City Expo.
At the same time, Bucheon City presented the results of the fine dust specialized complex construction project and set up an exhibition booth where the challenges of small and medium-sized companies can be seen through exhibitions of IoT innovative companies in the jurisdiction.
Bucheon City is participating in conferences in various fields as well as exhibitions at this expo to promote D.N.A.BUCHEON directly.

Mayor Jang introduces Bucheon's smart city policies that prioritize non-technology-oriented people, such as "Shi-Man-Si-Nu Smart City," "Warm Smart City," digital capacity-building education for Bucheon," Living Lab for citizens to diagnose urban problems, and public Wi-Fi services.
Dr. Kim, Kyung-hee, who is in charge of the project as a smart city officer in Bucheon-city, gave a presentation under the subject of ‘Smart City Challenged by Bucheon-Torrow Bucheon’ at the Expo "International Conference on Sustainable Existing City Smart City on the 9th.
Bucheon City Mayor Jang, Deok-cheon said, "We will expand services in various fields so that our citizens can embrace their daily lives well in Smart City Pass, a shared integrated platform introduced by Bucheon City," and emphasized, "We plan to strengthen D.N.A.BUCHEON with domestic innovative technology companies."
