An international conference will be held on how to utilize AI to build smart cities.
The Busan Metropolitan City will hold the AI World Congress (AWC), which is one of the leading AI conferences in Korea, at BEXCO in Busan on September 1 and 2.
AWC is a conference that examines the status and future of AI, which is the core of 4th industrial technology, through professional lectures and discussions by experts and officials from domestic and international AI fields, and provides a venue of communication among countries.
In particular, the AWC 2021 in BUSAN is drawing attention as experts from more than 10 countries will participate in lectures and discussions on how to use AI for Smart City construction online and offline.
The keynote speech of the "AI for Smart City" conference will be given by Professor Calor Lati of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Professor Do-nyeon Kim, chairman of the National Smart City Committee, will also give a keynote speech under the theme of "Future Urban Ecosystem and Smart City."
In addition, speakers from 12 countries around the world, including the U.K., Germany, France, the U.S., the Netherlands, and Finland, will introduce the overseas status and future of Smart City, which is utilizing AI. The details of the lecture are as follows.

Under the theme of "AI and Smart City Mobility," Lee Min-ho, a professor at Artificial Intelligence Research Institute at Kyungpook National University, will host a dialogue program with Aisha Khanna (CEO of ADDO AI, Singapore) and Kerko Banhanen (Forum Virium Helsinki, director of the program, Finland).
