The 2nd Eco Delta City construction project, which is being promoted by the Busan Metropolitan Government, will start the creation of infrastructures such as railways, roads, parks, and green areas over other construction projects.

The Busan Metropolitan Government's policy is to enhance the city's environmental value and public facilities services and to highlight the strength of an eco-friendly waterfront city that prioritizes transportation and the environment by first creating new transportation (tram), roads, water quality improvement facility, and green open spaces in the 2nd Eco Delta City.
The Busan Metropolitan Government will first create a new urban railway Gangseo Line (tram) to realize a 15-minute living area city and connect the Hadan-Noksan Line, which is under a preliminary feasibility study, early. In addition, it plans to improve water quality (grade 4 → grade 2) by strengthening water circulation by introducing the mainstream of Nakdong River (grade 2) and creating an eco-friendly waterfront city where nature such as migratory birds and humans coexist by creating and connecting a green axis along the West Nakdong River, which is 100m wide and 5.5km long.
Besides, it will introduce a regular hearing system to gather residents' opinions, living labs with residents, and artificial intelligence-based three-dimensional design techniques to implement the second Eco Delta City as a digital twin city with citizens.
