Guro-gu provides AR experience service for Smart-Guro Promotion Center

Guro-gu will provide an AR experience service that citizens can experience the future city on their mobile phones.

The newly-launched "AR Smart-Guro Promotion Center" has moved the "Smart-Guro Promotion Center" built in the underground plaza of Seoul Sindorim Station to a virtual space. Guro-gu has developed an AR experience service so that residents who have difficulty visiting the experience space due to COVID-19 can experience using advanced technologies such as the IoT.

Citizens can lively experience each section of the center such as Digital Twin, Citizen Situation Room, Smart Demonstration Service, Smart City Guro and etc. in AR service.

An official of Guro-gu said, "We’ve prepared this service as it became difficult for residents to visit the “Smart-Guro Promotion Center" due to COVID-19, so we will make an effort to realize smart cities that are actually helpful to resident’s lives."

The service can be used by installing the "Circus AR" application on the Google Play Store or Apple's App Store.
