Providing customized medical services through AI

Ministry of Science and ICT will start a Dr. Answer 2.0 business to enhance citizen experience about AI medical service. The government expenditure of 28 billion won will be spent.

Dr. Answer is a project to develop AI medical software (SW) for diagnosis and treatment of eight major diseases directly related to the citizen health span, and ‘Dr. Answer 2.0’ is a full development of the new 12 diseases.

The Dr. Answer 2.0 project group is organized by Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (Director Baek Long-min), and 30 medical institutions, and 18 companies related to information and communication technology and start to develop medical data and research AI medical software.

Dr. Answer 2.0 will supports medical staff's treatment such as ‘prediction and analysis’, ‘diagnosis support’ and ‘convalescence management’ from a pre-periodic perspective, clinical verification, and medical device licensing.

It is expected to enhance citizen experience about AI medical services through the development of 24 AI medical software and 12 diseases such as depression, prostatic hypertrophy, diabetes, high blood pressure, cerebral infarction, lung cancer, liver cancer, stomach cancer, and thyroid cancer Including pneumonia, liver disease, and skin disease.
