|Smart Today=Reporter Na Gi-cheon| Chairman Jeong Yong-jin of Shinsegae Group announced on the 12th that he will attend the Christmas dinner hosted by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance.
According to the group, Chairman Jeong departed to attend the dinner, which will be held at the Vice President's residence in Washington D.C. that evening local time.
Key figures from the U.S. political and business sectors, including members of the Rockbridge Network founded by Vice President Vance, will be in attendance.
Chairman Jeong serves as the Asia Chairman of the Rockbridge Network. He is also a director of Rockbridge Network Korea, which was launched in October as a think tank.
Shinsegae Group stated, "Chairman Jeong will consider how the global network he has built can contribute to the growth of Shinsegae Group and, ultimately, to the development of the Korean economy."
