Lee Chan-won, selected as the new face of Panpyrin, has established himself as a versatile entertainer by winning the 'Entertainer of the Year' award at the KBS Entertainment Awards last year with his outstanding skills and witty remarks. Considering brand trust and a healthy, bright image, Panpyrin chose Lee Chan-won as its first male model since its launch and plans to carry out various marketing activities in the future.
The new advertisement intuitively conveys the heritage and main efficacy of Panpyrin, which has been responsible for colds in South Korea for 65 years. With the launch of the nighttime cold medicine 'Panpyrin Night Liquid' last year, Panpyrin expanded its lineup and emphasizes through the advertisement that it can care for cold symptoms all day long with Panpyrin Q during the day and Panpyrin Night Liquid at night.
The new advertising campaign titled 'Ending' carries the meaning of ending Panpyrin and colds (END). Lee Chan-won showcases various situations of nasal colds, throat colds, and cough colds through a trot medley, delivering the message that "Quick Ending for Colds" as the main efficacy of Panpyrin.
The Panpyrin advertisement featuring Lee Chan-won can be viewed on Dong-A Pharmaceutical's official YouTube channel and TV, and a follow-up episode titled 'Dduk-Dak' will be released soon.
A representative from Dong-A Pharmaceutical stated, "Panpyrin is a brand with a deep history and tradition focused solely on caring for cold symptoms for 65 years, and Lee Chan-won's trustworthy and healthy image fits well with the brand, which is why he was selected as the model. Meanwhile, Dong-A Pharmaceutical's representative cold medicine brand Panpyrin has a diverse product lineup, including Panpyrin Q and Panpyrin Night Liquid for pharmacies, and Panpyrin Tea for convenience stores. Panpyrin Q and Panpyrin Night Liquid are liquid formulations that are quickly absorbed in the body and can be taken easily without water, helping with convenience and immediate relief of cold symptoms.
